TORRES: No alert level changes for any of the islands this week

The president of the Canary Islands, Ángel Víctor Torres, said this morning in an interview with Radio Marca Tenerife, that there will be no changes in the alert levels in any of the Islands due to COVID-19, so Lanzarote and Fuerteventura will continue for another week at Level 2, and the rest at Level 1.

He announced this in response to a question asking about the possibility of Tenerife and Gran Canaria changing levels today, due to the increase in their coronavirus infections and incidence rates.

This was confirmed by the Minister of Health for the Canary Islands, Blas Trujillo, in the press conference after the Governing Council meeting meaning that the islands are as follows:
