Quad accident in Tenerife leaves two injured, one in serious condition

Two people were injured yesterday morning, Sunday, in a quad accident that took place in the municipality of Guía de Isora in the south of Tenerife, leaving one of them in a serious condition.

The incident occurred at just after 11:00am on the TF-82 highway, at the entrance to the Ramallo ravine. Reports suggest that the quad was involved in an accident, resulting in injuries to its riders.

According to the statement released by CECOES (Emergency Services Coordination Centre? a 25-year-old woman suffered the most severe injuries, including serious ankle and wrist fractures. The second occupant of the quad, a 30-year-old man, sustained minor injuries in the accident.

The emergency services were promptly dispatched to the scene, providing immediate assistance to both people. After being stabilised, they were transferred to the South Hospital via ambulance for further medical attention,

The circumstances leading to the accident are under investigation, and the local police are working to determine the cause of the incident as no other vehicles were involved.
