A shocking incident unfolded yesterday morning (Sunday) in the south of Tenerife, where a man allegedly ran over his tenant and his own two children following an argument. The Guardia Civil is currently investigating the circumstances to clarify exactly what happened.
The events took place at around 9:45am on the TF-82 main road, near the area of Tejina in the municipality of Guía de Isora, specifically in a car park outside a well-known local bar-café in front of the Guía de Isora Cooperative.
According to initial reports, the tenant and the property owner’s children — a 20-year-old man and a 26-year-old woman — were involved in a heated argument inside the bar, which then continued into the nearby parking area. At some point, the property owner arrived at the scene in a vehicle and, under circumstances still being investigated, ran over the three of them.
Emergency services quickly arrived, including the Guardia Civil, Local Police, firefighters and SUC medical personnel.
Three people injured
Investigators from the Guardia Civil in Guía de Isora are working to determine whether the earlier argument and the subsequent incident were connected to a dispute over the rental of a property.
