Armed robber arrested after clown mask found in his apartment in Adeje

The National Police have arrested a 27-year-old man with no previous police record for two crimes of robbery with violence and intimidation on separate occasions, in the municipality of Adeje in the south of Tenerife, with the second one leading the police to find the man and link him to the first one.

The situation unfolded because on the night of March 21^st three people of foreign nationality met to have a few drinks until late at night in a tourist apartment in Adeje.

During the night, one of them drew what looked like a firearm and intimidated the other two, taking just 40 euros in cash from them and the hire car that they’d been using during their stay on the island and driving off.
