A car overturned on the LZ-1 road between Tahíche and Guatiza in Lanzarote on Monday morning, in the area of Teguise.
The Emergency Services Coordination Centre (CECOES) received an alert just after 11:00am informing them of an accident, so they immediately dispatched the relevant emergency resources to the location given.
When they arrived there, Firefighters found a single vehicle on its side at the edge of the road. Fortunately, both occupants had managed to get out of the car unaided and were found with only minor injuries.
They secured the scene and stopped the car from moving by placing blocks under it, and used a winch to carefully return the car to its upright position.
The cause of the incident has not been made public, but no other vehicles were involved.
