The CEOE reject the latest proposal for the extension of the ERTE

The Executive Committee of the CEOE Union and its members have unanimously decided to reject the latest proposal by the Ministry of Social Security this morning because of the exemptions that would be applied in the extension of the ERTE until September 30th.

They have said that this rejection is due to the fact that it focuses on Social Security exemptions on the activation of workers in ERTE, instead of focusing on those who cannot rejoin employment, and assure they will continue working to achieve their objectives.

In the meantime Executive committee of the CCOO is also analyzing the latest government proposal, while the UGT has its Executive meeting this afternoon.

The latest proposal from the Ministry of Social Security headed by José Luis Escrivá was presented this morning after the meeting yesterday afternoon ended without an agreement between the parties, due to the exemptions raised by the Ministry, as reported by the unions and business representatives.

The part of the extension of the ERTE that concerns the Ministry of Labour is already closed and agreed by all parties.
