Almost half of 20 to 29 years old have now had at least one dose of the vaccine

The Ministry of Health of the Canary Islands has informed that the SCS have now administered almost 2.6 million (2,598,451) doses of the vaccines against Covid-19 of the 2,750,280 received, which represents 94.48%. In addition, up until yesterday the immunization of 1,230,325 people who have already been fully vaccinated had been achieved, which represents 62.7% of the target population over 12 years of age in the Canary Islands.

There are now 1,508,462 people who have received at least one dose of the vaccine in the Archipelago, which is 76.93% of the target population of 1,960,774 people over 12. Taking the population over 16 years of age as reference, 80.62% have been vaccinated.
