Roadworks start tomorrow on the TF-1 motorway at the south airport junction

In an effort to enhance transport infrastructure in the south of Tenerife, the Cabildo is set to start improvement works on the northbound carriageway of the TF-1 at kilometre point 59, the junction for the South Airport.

The work is scheduled to start tomorrow, Monday 19th February, during daytime hours from 7:00am to 3:00pm with possible traffic problems in this area during their execution because of occasional and intermittent lane closures.

The tasks primarily involve conservation efforts, enhancements, and the cleaning of green areas.

Councillor Dámaso Arteaga of the Cabildo roads department, urges drivers to exercise caution, budget extra time for journeys, and pay close attention to the signage that will be installed on the affected stretch of road during the course of the project.
