The dead body of a woman, as yet unidentified, was discovered floating in the sea off the coast of the municipality of Arico in Tenerife yesterday afternoon (Saturday).
Sources close to the investigation have confirmed that all indications point to a homicide, as the unfortunate victim had a plastic bag tied around her head.
As per the protocol, specialists from the Judicial Police of the Guardia Civil are already investigating this tragic discovery, with the judicial authorities being promptly informed.
Few details have been fully confirmed, but it is noted that the body was found in a coastal area near the neighbourhoods of La Jaca and Las Listadas.
