The latest weather forecasts from AEMET predict a generally bright Wednesday across the Canary Islands, with light cloud and some morning low cloud on the northern coasts of Gran Canaria and the eastern islands. Additional low cloud is expected later in the day in northern areas below 600–700 metres.

A light calima will linger in Tenerife and the western islands but is set to clear during the morning.

Temperatures will show little variation overall, though maximums may dip slightly on northern slopes and inland areas of Lanzarote and Fuerteventura, while higher areas across the archipelago may see a modest rise.

Northeasterly winds will strengthen on southeast and northwest slopes during the second half of the day, with gentle breezes prevailing along the southwest coasts of the mountainous islands.

At sea, easterly or northeasterly winds of force 2–3 will freshen through the afternoon to 3–4, reaching force 5 after midnight in southeastern and western waters. Slight seas will build to moderate overnight in those areas. A northerly or north-westerly swell of 1–2 metres will ease to 1 metre. The southwest coasts will experience variable winds around force 2 with slight seas. Occasional haze may reduce visibility.
