A weekend of spooky fun and Halloween activities in Corralejo

Corralejo is gearing up for a Halloween celebration on Saturday 31st October, with escape rooms, spooky walk-through experiences, and activities for families in the town’s shopping area.

Avenida Nuestra Señora del Carmen and Calle Lepanto will be transformed with Halloween decorations for the occasion, giving residents and visitors in Fuerteventura the chance to join in the fun.

The programme includes themed escape rooms and passages of terror, alongside face painting, craft workshops and a costume parade.

Dress up and join the fun

Anyone planning a Halloween costume can take part in a competition with individual, couple and group categories, according to Radio Insular.

The station reports that participants can register at the Empronor stand, which is open from 10:00am to 2:00pm and 4:30pm to 8:30pm, with registration expected to remain available until approximately 6:00pm on Saturday.

The celebration is part of the “Ven a Pasarlo de Miedo en Halloween” campaign (or the “Come and Have a Frightfully Good Time This Halloween” campaign), organised by Fuerteventura’s Cabildo and northern business association Empronor, with the collaboration of La Oliva council.

As well as providing entertainment, the campaign aims to encourage shoppers to support local businesses. A separate competition is open to people who make purchases or consume food or drink worth €20 or more at participating establishments. This spending requirement applies to the shopping competition.
