Two children Injured in motorbike accident in Lanzarote
Two minors, aged nine and fourteen, were injured on Sunday following a collision between two motorbikes on a dirt track in Teguise (Lanzarote), according to the Canary Islands Emergency and Security Coordination Centre (CECOES).
The incident occurred at around 2:00pm when a call informed emergency operators of a crash involving two young riders who required immediate medical attention on a rural track in the El Jablero area.
Emergency resources were quickly dispatched, and medical teams stabilised both children at the scene.
The nine-year-old sustained moderate injuries, while the fourteen-year-old was reported to be slightly injured. Both were transported to Hospital Doctor José Molina Orosa for further evaluation and treatment.
The cause of the collision is under investigation.
