First step in the right direction: Spain lifts travel restrictions with the UK

Spain has announced today that they are lifting travel restrictions on entry by air and sea for passengers from the United Kingdom on March 30^th, but has extended those in force with flights from Brazil and South Africa until mid-April to control the expansion of new variants of the coronavirus.

From now on UK citizens must conform to the same rules of the Schengen area, which oblige them to carry a negative PCR test to be able to move between countries, as clarified in the press conference after the Council of Ministers by Government spokesperson, María Jesús Montero, who said this decision has been taken because the UK’s vaccination campaign is doing so well.
