The European Commission has officially announced the details and requirements for the digital Covid passport to EU Member States, that countries like Spain and Greece are demanding to facilitate tourist travel this summer, which will need to be agreed upon by all member states for its implementation.
The Commission have highlighted that this will benefit both those who have been vaccinated and those who have antibodies or a recent negative test; but at the same time they have warned that it should not be perceived as a passport that guarantees free movement, but is to exempt those who possess it from sanitary measures such as quarantine.
