The Canary Islands have registered 131 new cases of coronavirus, so the total accumulated cases rises to 46,251, with no Covid related deaths in the last 24 hours, according to the latest data presented by the Ministry of Health this afternoon.
Of the total accumulated cases in the Canary Islands, 4,155 are active (+98), of which 79 are admitted to the ICU (+3), 289 remain hospitalized (+8) and 3,787 are at home (+87). In addition, people who have overcome the disease reach 41,431 after receiving 33 medical discharges.
Regarding the Accumulated Incidence (AI) in the Canary Islands, after 7 days it drops to 62.13 cases per 100,000 inhabitants and after 14 days it falls to 130.75 cases per 100,000 inhabitants. So far a total of 954,596 PCR tests have been carried out on the islands, 2,628 in the last day, of which 50,327 have been positive, representing 5.27%.
