The video of a motorcyclist kicking and hitting an elderly driver until he fell to the floor unconscious has gone viral with people outraged by the actions of the younger man.
The incident took place in Altavista, a district of Arrecife in Lanzarote, yesterday afternoon (Thursday) after the driver of the car allegedly ‘cut up’ the motorcyclist on a roundabout causing him to almost crash his motorbike.
Angered by the situation, the motorcyclist followed the car until he stopped and parked, and then waited for him to get out of his vehicle before attacking him without any warning kicking and punching him in the head until he collapsed on the floor.
Onlookers rushed to help the man, aged around 65 years old, confronted the attacker, and called the Local Police who intervened and arrested the motorcyclist for his actions.
Fortunately, the driver is expected to make a full recovery after being treated for shock and mild injuries, and the detainee is in custody awaiting trial.
