A 72-year-old man was rescued yesterday (Monday) following a paragliding accident on Taucho Mountain in Adeje, in the south of Tenerife.
The incident required a rescue helicopter, which transported him to the helipad at the Adeje Fire Station where emergency medical personnel were waiting to treat him before transferring him by ambulance to Hospiten Sur, where he was admitted with moderate injuries.
The rescue operation involved the coordination of multiple teams. The Local Police assisted emergency responders at the scene, while the Guardia Civil took charge of filing the official report.
