Two men arrested in Tenerife for brutally attacking and robbing elderly victims

The National Police have arrested two people charged with committing two acts of robbery with violence and intimidation in Tenerife. The detainees specifically targeted elderly people and ambushed them from behind before aggressively and forcefully robbing them.

The Police became aware of the two robberies after the victims reported the incidents at two different police stations in the city, but described the same attackers and methods of attack, which suggested a possible link between the two cases.

The severity of the attacks was highlighted by the fact that one of the victims required medical treatment at hospital.

The investigation led to the identification of two men as the prime suspects behind these heinous acts. Subsequently, the National Police successfully located and arrested the individuals in the capital of Tenerife.

Upon their apprehension, the judicial authority one of the suspects to be held in prison while the investigation continues to ensure justice for the victims and establish the full extent of the suspects' criminal activities.
