Tuesday weather: Rain this morning and haze this afternoon
More rain and haze are forecast for the Canary Islands today, Tuesday, but at a lower intensity than yesterday with weak to moderate rains in the morning and a light haze in the afternoon. Winds will blow moderately from the southeast, with very strong gusts on the west coast of the islands, according to the latest forecast from AEMET.
At sea there will be force 5 or 6 winds from the southeast, rising to 7 at the start of the day on the southwest coasts. Strong waves are expected on the northwest coasts, between 2 and 3 metres high, with swell of 1 to 2 metres.
