A man has been arrested in Lanzarote by the National Police for allegedly operating an illegal marijuana plantation and selling drugs through a cannabis club he managed in Costa Teguise. The suspect, who had no prior criminal record, now faces criminal charges for drug trafficking.
The investigation began in late September following a report by the Local Police in Arrecife, which provided evidence pointing to the existence of an illegal marijuana cultivation site. National Police officers corroborated the findings and confirmed that the suspect was distributing drugs through the cannabis club.
