Intense weather conditions forecast for Lanzarote this weekend

The windy conditions, in particular, are expected to persist until early Monday morning, with maximum gusts potentially reaching speeds of 80 km/h. The influence of the Aliisios, prevailing northeasterly winds, is likely to be most pronounced in the northeastern region of the island.

In terms of precipitation, there is a high probability of rain today, Friday, diminishing tomorrow, Saturday. The impact is expected to be concentrated in the northern half of Lanzarote, with rainfall ranging from weak to locally moderate in intensity.

As for sea conditions, waves measuring 3 to 4 metres high are forecast today, with an escalation expected tomorrow when waves could exceed 5 metres in height.
