British tourist found dead on popular beach in the Canary Islands

A British holidaymaker was found dead on Playa Chica, a picturesque sandy cove in the resort of Puerto del Carmen, Lanzarote. The serene beach, one of the island’s top family-friendly destinations, became the site of this tragic event early yesterday morning (Tuesday).

Emergency services were alerted shortly after 7:30am when local authorities responded to the distress call. Upon arrival, they found the lifeless body of a 34-year-old man, who has been identified as a British holidaymaker.
