A happy ending as firemen rescue a kitten trapped in a car in Tenerife
Yesterday, local residents in Los Andenes in La Laguna, had a smile on their faces after calling the fire brigade to rescue a small kitten that was trapped in the underside of a car, as they couldn’t get it out. However, Tenerife’s finest saved its life declaring, "We are here to watch over any living being."
Somehow the kitten had managed to get trapped in a car in Los Andenes, which is a district of La Laguna, much to the despair of some locals who raised the alarm.
Firemen came and managed to rescue it by using an air jack to lift the vehicle so that they could access the engine bay where it was stuck, without causing any harm to the kitten (or the car), much to the delight of the residents who showed their appreciation by posting it all over social media.
The neighbours thanked the work done by the firemen to save the animal's life, saying that they needed something with a happy ending after months and months of hardship.
This story follows another rescue that took place just a few days ago when the fire brigade were called to rescue a podenca dog that had fallen off a cliff in Tenerife. Fortunately, in both cases, they were able to save the animals lives.
