After eight months of renovation and an investment of €40 million, the five-star GF Gran Costa Adeje in the south of Tenerife has reopened its doors, unveiling a modernised concept centred on comfort, technology, and family-friendly experiences.

The reopening marks the completion of a major refurbishment project by GF Hoteles, part of the Grupo Fedola, welcoming back guests eager to enjoy its refreshed facilities and services.

Modern Design and Smart Rooms

The hotel’s rooms now feature soft, calming tones and state-of-the-art smart technology that allows guests to intuitively control lighting, air conditioning, and other amenities, creating a more personalised and restful stay.

According to Victoria López, president of Grupo Fedola, this transformation “goes beyond aesthetics – it represents a new way of understanding rest and comfort.” She emphasised that the new design “combines serenity, modernity, and functionality, all focused on family well-being,” while highlighting the company’s commitment to “reinvest in improving the destination and enhancing quality tourism in Tenerife.”

She added that “the true heart of the GF Gran Costa Adeje lies in its people, the dedicated team and the loyal guests who have eagerly awaited the reopening of this much-loved hotel.”

Enhanced Family Leisure

The revamped resort strengthens its family offering with a new miniclub and teen club offering age-appropriate activities, along with a splash zone with slides designed for safe children’s play, reaffirming its reputation as a premier family destination in Costa Adeje.

Sustainability and Energy Efficiency

Environmental responsibility is at the core of the renovation. The hotel now features:

  • Energy-efficient air conditioning that adjusts to occupancy levels.
  • LED lighting and automated systems to optimise energy use.
  • Hot water production combining solar energy and heat recovery.
  • Door sensors that turn off air conditioning when opened.
  • Streamlined laundry management to reduce water and power consumption.

These improvements result in significant environmental savings and a more sustainable operation, aligning with GF Hoteles’ long-term commitment to responsible tourism.

A Renewed Vision for Tenerife’s Tourism

With this investment, GF Hoteles reinforces its role as a leading Canarian brand committed to innovation, environmental efficiency, and family-centred hospitality.

The new GF Gran Costa Adeje is designed to meet the needs of today’s traveller, blending relaxation, technology, and sustainability to create a premium yet conscious holiday experience in one of Tenerife’s most sought-after destinations.
