Police meet Ryanair flight from the UK at Tenerife south airport after trouble on board

A flight that took off this morning (Monday) from Leeds-Bradford heading for Tenerife, had to request police presence upon landing at the south airport due to the aggressive attitude of three passengers on board, according to Air Traffic Controllers who have posted about the incident on Twitter.

The approach of Ryanair flight FR6433 was given priority landing over other flights at the request of the pilot due to trouble on the plane.

As soon as the plane had landed, the National Police went on board and arrested three British passengers who were led off the plane before anyone could disembark, and will be detained until there is a full report from the Ryanair crew, at which point they will be charged accordingly.

This incident occurs after the one that took place on December 13th on a flight from Lanzarote to Tenerife, in which a troublesome passenger began to hit the seat in front of him and insult the other passengers. On this occasion, he was unaware that there were 19 National Police officers in plain clothes on board the flight.

The pilot, as is done in this type of situation, and others with emergencies on board, reduced the flight path as much as possible to land at the Tenerife North airport as quickly as possible, where the culprit was arrested.
