The Emergency Services Coordination Centre (CECOES) have reported that a traffic accident on the TF-28 road in Granadilla de Abona, south Tenerife, last night (Friday), resulted in three people being injured with varying degrees of severity.
They received an alert just after 11:00pm and dispatched the necessary emergency resources to the location given.
Medical personnel arrived at the scene to find the occupants already outside the overturned vehicle and provided immediate care on-site before transferring the injured to hospitals for further treatment.
Among the injured was a man who sustained moderate multiple injuries and was taken to the Hospiten Sur hospital. Two women were also injured: one suffered minor cervical trauma, while the other experienced moderate multiple injuries. Both were taken to the Hospital del Sur by ambulances.
The Guardia Civil are conducting an investigation into the cause of the accident and as to why the vehicle overturned, and prepared the necessary reports. Additionally, the Tenerife Cabildo Road Maintenance Service worked to clean the road and restore safe driving conditions.
Thanks to the quick response from emergency teams, the injured received prompt care, and efforts were made to ensure the safety of the affected area. The injured individuals are now recovering in hospital under medical supervision.
