5 photos of the Canaries feature in National Geographic image of the week
We all know that the Canary Islands are paradise, and now even the prestigious international magazine National Geographic and its readers and followers know it too, as last week they include, not one, but five stunning photos that capture the breath taking beauty of the place we call home.
The selected photographs are a snapshot of the ‘Ruta de los Volcanes’ in La Palma, taken by David del Rosario (above); one on Playa de Nogales in Puntallana, also in La Palma, from Patricia O.; one of Mt Teide in Tenerife, captured by Yeray Gutiérrez; another from Playa El Frontón, in Gran Canaria, by Jairo Díaz , and the last one taken in Lanzarote, courtesy of Javi García.
The National Geographic has displayed all five online under the hashtag #TuFotoNatGeo, and one of them will make it into the next print edition of the magazine.
