The haze is returning to the Canary Islands
The State Meteorological Agency (AEMET) are showing that there will be a general rise in temperatures throughout the archipelago tomorrow due to hot winds from Africa, especially in the islands of the eastern province, Lanzarote, Fuerteventura and Gran Canaria, as they are the first ones that feel the effect from the east.
Specifically, they are forecasting that in Fuerteventura and Lanzarote a slight haze will arrive tomorrow (Thursday) throughout the day at altitude, although skies will be partially clear with cloudy intervals in the morning.
As for the province of Santa Cruz de Tenerife, clouds are expected in the north of the island and in more mountainous areas, with temperatures set to rise over the next few days.
The wind will blow from the northeast moderately, with intervals of strong in the early hours of the day, and then continue from the east as the sandy air from the Sahara starts to make its way across the islands.
