Cloudy and rainy in the north, and a sunny Saturday in the South

Cloudy skies and the possibility of light rains are expected this Saturday in the north and the middle of the islands, where temperatures will remain unchanged and winds will be from the northeast, according to forecasts from Aemet.

Sea conditions are generally calm but with strong swell on northwest coast between 1 and 2 metres. The south of the islands will have patchy clouds with sunny spells and will stay dry.

Weather forecast for each island:
GRAN CANARIA:
The north and east will see cloudy skies with occasional scattered rains in the morning, and with opening of wide clearings in the afternoon. In the rest of the island, some intervals of high clouds. Only slight temperature changes, more significant in high areas. Northeast wind, with strong gusts on southeast and northwest slopes, as well as on exposed peaks. Breezy on southwest coasts.
In Las Palmas expect a minimum temperature of 17ºC and a maximum of 21ºC.

TENERIFE:
In the north and northeast of the island there will mostly cloudy skies with occasional scattered rains in the morning, clearing up in the afternoon. In the rest of the areas, light clouds with sunny intervals. There will be some frost in early hours of the day at high peaks, and a northeast wind, which will be strong on the southeast slope and extreme on the northwest. Breezes on south-west facing coasts.
In Santa Cruz expect a minimum temperature of 16ºC and a maximum of 22ºC.

LANZAROTE:
Cloudy intervals in the north and east of the island at the beginning of the day, clearing to slightly cloudy during the morning. In the rest, light clouds or clear with a north-easterly wind.
In Arrecife expect a minimum temperature of 15ºC and a maximum of 21ºC.

FUERTEVENTURA:
Cloudy intervals in the east at the beginning of the day, lifting during the morning. In the rest, a bit cloudy or clear. Temperatures unchanged across the island. Northeast wind with strong intervals in central areas in the afternoon.
In Puerto del Rosario expect a minimum temperature of 16ºC and a maximum of 20ºC.

LA GOMERA:
Cloudy in the north with some weak and scattered rain in the morning, clearing in the afternoon. In the rest of the island, light clouds with some sunny spells. Wind from north and northeast, more intense on east and northwest slopes. Breezes on south-west facing coasts.
In San Sebastian expect a minimum temperature of 16ºC and a maximum of 22ºC.

LA PALMA:
Cloudy in the northeast and east, with a low probability of weak and occasional rains, mainly in the middle of the island during the first half of the day, clearing in the afternoon. There will be a northeast wind with strong intervals in the extreme southeast and northwest as well as in the El Paso area, where some very strong gusts are not ruled out. Mainly breezes on the west slopes.
In Santa Cruz de La Palma expect a minimum temperature of 16ºC and a maximum of 21ºC.

EL HIERRO:
In the north and northeast, a predominance of cloudy skies with some weak and scattered showers in the early hours of the day, clearing in the afternoon. In the rest of the island, light cloud with some bright patches. Northeast wind occasionally strong on the southeast and northwest slopes, breezes on the southwest slope.
In Valverde expect a minimum temperature of 11ºC and a maximum of 15ºC.
