The Canary Islands are set to experience strong winds today, Friday, particularly in the high-altitude areas of Tenerife and La Palma. According to the State Meteorological Agency (AEMET), powerful westerly winds will affect these two islands, with very strong gusts expected during the second half of the day.
Additionally, the forecast highlights a decline in north-westerly swell, from 2-3 metres to 1-2 metres starting in the morning.
