According to the latest forecast from the State Meteorological Agency (AEMET), the Canary Islands will experience a rise in maximum temperatures today (Thursday), with mostly clear skies and strong trade winds impacting the region, particularly in higher areas in the south of the islands.
Sea Conditions:

- Strong waves with a swell from the north ranging between 1 to 2 metres deep.
Forecast for each of the islands for today:
- Mostly clear with some clouds in the north of the island.
- Little change expected in temperatures.
- Occasional strong trade winds in the south of the island.
- Maximum temperature of 28°C and minimum of 22°C.
- Mostly clear with cloudy intervals this morning.

- Occasional strong trade winds across the island.
- Maximum temperature of 29°C and minimum of 23°C.
- Cloudy in the north of the island with some clearing during the day, occasional drizzle possible early on. Clear skies in other areas.
- Little change in overall temperatures, but highs will rise inland in the southern and western regions.
- Trade winds with occasional strong gusts, particularly on the southeast and northwest slopes; coastal southwest areas will see breezes; light variable winds at the central peaks, shifting to the northwest this afternoon.
- Maximum temperature of 28°C and minimum of 23°C.
- Mostly clear with low cloud intervals in the north, where occasional drizzle is possible early in the day, especially in the northeast. Clearer skies in other areas.
- Generally stable temperatures, with highs rising in the central areas of the island.
- Strong trade winds in the southeast and extreme northwest, breezes on the southwest coasts; moderate southwestern winds in central peaks, shifting to light westerly winds during the afternoon.
