A cloudy and breezy day is forecast for today, Tuesday, in the Canary Islands, with the possibility of light, occasional rain, according to the latest forecast from the Spanish Met Office (AEMET).
The wind is expected to be moderate from the northeast but could become stronger, particularly on the southeast and northwest slopes of the islands, with occasional strong gusts.
The northern shores will see moderate to rough seas, with wave heights between one and two metres, while the southern coasts will have calmer waters.

The northern part of the island will start and end the day with predominantly cloudy skies, clearing somewhat during the middle of the day. Other areas will experience a mix of clouds and clear spells. Temperatures will remain stable with a slight rise in the minimums. The northeast wind will be moderate but could intensify in some inland areas by the afternoon, with gusts potentially exceeding 65 km/h.

Expect mostly clear skies with some cloudy intervals in the morning and late in the day, particularly along the coast. Temperatures will see little change, with a slight increase in the minimums. The northeast wind will be moderate, possibly becoming stronger in the west and on the southern slopes of Jandía in the afternoon, with gusts exceeding 65 km/h.
Expected temperatures: High of 27°C and a low of 21°C.
The northern region will be mostly cloudy, with a chance of light, occasional rain in the morning. Clouds will decrease in the middle of the day. The rest of the island will have a mix of clouds and sunshine, with the southern coast expected to clear up by midday. Temperatures will remain largely unchanged, with a slight rise in south-facing areas inland.
Northeast winds will intensify in the southeast and northwest this afternoon, with gusts potentially over 70 km/h. Light variable winds will prevail in the highlands, with an easterly direction at night and early morning. Breezes are expected along the southwestern coast.
