The legendary British musician Sting is set to return to the Canary Islands in 2026 as part of his acclaimed Sting 3.0 World Tour. The long-awaited visit forms part of his Spanish tour and includes two exclusive concerts in the archipelago: on 9th July at the Gran Canaria Arena and on 10th July at the Anexo Palmetum in Tenerife. Tickets go on sale this week, with pre-sale opening on 4th November at 9 am and general sale on 5th November at 9 am.

Sting will be joined on stage by long-time collaborator and world-class guitarist Dominic Miller, and dynamic drummer Chris Maas, known for his work with Mumford & Sons and Maggie Rogers. Together, they’ll deliver some of Sting’s most iconic hits, including Englishman in New York, Roxanne, Fields of Gold, and Every Breath You Take, alongside lesser-known gems from his extensive catalogue.

Sting last visited Tenerife and Gran Canaria in 2023 with his “My Songs” tour. The new shows scheduled for July 2026 are part of his “Sting 3.0” world tour, which features a more stripped-down trio format and a fresh set-list and production approach compared with earlier tours. The Canary Islands concerts are expected to be two of the musical highlights of the summer.

This tour has earned rave reviews around the world, with critics calling it “a masterclass in musicianship and charisma”.  With a raw, direct, and energetic sound, Sting continues to prove himself as one of the most influential and creative artists of his generation. The trio’s minimalist format has also inspired a new single, I Wrote Your Name (Upon My Heart), and a live album, STING 3.0 LIVE, recorded during the world tour.

Available in digital, CD, and 180-gram vinyl formats, STING 3.0 LIVE features 10 live recordings of his greatest hits, including an unreleased version of Be Still My Beating Heart and a new rendition of Fragile, the 1987 classic recently featured in the Netflix miniseries Adolescence.

Throughout his distinguished career, Sting has won 17 GRAMMY Awards, sold more than 100 million albums worldwide, earned numerous accolades, including a Golden Globe, four Oscar nominations, a Tony nomination, Billboard’s Century Award, and is also a member of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

Beyond his music, Sting is also a dedicated humanitarian. Alongside his wife Trudie Styler, he co-founded the Rainforest Fund in 1989 to protect tropical rainforests and the Indigenous communities who live in them. His ongoing commitment to causes such as Amnesty International and Live Aid reflects the same universal spirit that defines his artistry.
