Roadworks on the TF-47 in the south of Tenerife with lane closures and diversions

Starting today, Monday, the Department of Roads for Tenerife Cabildo are implementing diversions on TF-47, passing through Alcalá in the south of Tenerife. This is due to roadworks which are scheduled until Thursday of this week.

The work, taking place between 7:30am and 7:00pm, will mean the closure of the left lane for resurfacing work, so traffic will be diverted to the right lane with traffic lights, to cater for traffic in both directions.

Additionally, as the work progresses, there may be alternating closures and traffic diversions depending on progress and the time of day.

Commuters and residents are advised to plan their routes accordingly, considering the potential impact on travel time and possible tailbacks. These road improvement efforts are aimed at enhancing the infrastructure of the local community.
