Rain and cloudy skies forecast across the Canary Islands this Sunday
The Canary Islands will experience cloudy conditions and light to moderate rain today, Sunday, according to the latest forecast from the Spanish Meteorological Agency (AEMET). Temperatures will remain largely unchanged across the archipelago.
At sea, winds from the north or northeast (force 3 to 4) will occasionally reach force 5 offshore, particularly along the northwest and southeast coasts. Expect slight to moderate seas and a northwesterly swell of between 1 and 2 metres.
Overall, the day will bring typical autumn weather for the Canaries, with mild temperatures, light rain in some areas, and breezy conditions developing by the afternoon.

LANZAROTE:
Partly cloudy skies becoming mostly clear through the day. Light northeasterly winds increasing to moderate from the north in the afternoon.

FUERTEVENTURA:
Cloudy at first, clearing as the day progresses. Temperatures steady. Light northeast winds becoming moderate from the north in the afternoon.
Expected temperature range: Minimum of 19°C and a maximum of 26°C.
GRAN CANARIA:
Variable cloud cover, with overcast skies early and late in the day. Occasional light to moderate showers possible in inland and southern areas during the afternoon, and weak rain not ruled out in the north. Minimum temperatures unchanged or slightly lower; maximums stable or slightly higher. Light northeast winds strengthening later, with coastal breezes, especially in the north and southwest.
Expected temperature range: Minimum of 21°C and a maximum of 25°C.
TENERIFE:
Mostly cloudy overnight and during the afternoon, especially on southern slopes, with a chance of light to moderate rain later in the day. Light northeast winds increasing to moderate in the afternoon, with coastal breezes in the west and moderate northerlies on the central peaks. Temperatures steady or slightly cooler.
