On-duty taxi driver tests positive for hashish in Las Palmas

A taxi driver has tested positive for hashish in Gran Canaria while working, after being tested by agents of the Local Police in random checks on the Carretera General del Norte in Las Palmas.

Following the positive test result, agents filed the appropriate report, and his vehicle was impounded.

The incident highlights the vigilance and enforcement efforts of the drug control operations carried out by agents of the Mediation and Coexistence Unit of the Local Police, to ensure the safety and well-being of the community, especially in critical service sectors such as transportation.
