Created and produced by Matt Charman, known for his work on Traitors and Bridge of Spies, the series focuses on an international summit between the French and British leaders that goes wrong when the husband of the British Prime Minister is kidnapped and the French president is blackmailed.

The star-studded cast also includes:

- Lucian Msamati (Game of Thrones) as Kofi Adomako

- James Cosmo (Highlander, Braveheart, Trainspotting) as Max, Dalton's ailing father

- Jehnny Beth as Adrienne Pelletier

The plot thickens as they navigate a health crisis, confront high-stakes decisions, and deal with kidnappings and blackmail that threaten their political careers and personal lives. The series will consist of five episodes, each lasting 60 minutes.

Filming began in the UK before moving to La Palma, where local expertise is playing a crucial role. Over ten local companies have been involved, providing specialised services to support this high-profile production.
