More cooler weather coming to the Canary Islands with frost on peaks

Cloudier skies and a noticeable drop in temperatures are expected across the Canary Islands this Tuesday, with the national met office AEMET warning that frost may appear on peaks, particularly in Tenerife.
Maximum temperatures will reach 21 degrees in Gran Canaria and the eastern islands, and 20 degrees in Tenerife and the western islands. Winds will be generally light and variable.
At sea, winds are also expected to be light, force 1 to 3, with smooth to slight seas and a north-westerly swell of 1 to 2 metres.
Island-by-island forecast for Tuesday 30th December:
TENERIFE
Cloudy intervals, becoming more overcast in the middle of the day, particularly inland. Temperatures unchanged. Light frost is not ruled out on the central peaks. Light, variable winds with coastal breezes, and light to moderate north-westerly winds at high altitude.
General temperature range: 16°C minimum, 20°C maximum.
GRAN CANARIA
Cloudy intervals, with more persistent cloud in the central hours of the day, especially inland. Temperatures steady. Light, variable winds and coastal breezes.
General temperature range: 17°C minimum, 21°C maximum.
LANZAROTE
Mostly clear with occasional cloud during the middle of the day. Temperatures stable. Light, variable winds with coastal breezes.
General temperature range: 13°C minimum, 21°C maximum.
FUERTEVENTURA
Mainly clear with some cloud at midday. Temperatures unchanged or slightly lower overnight. Light, variable winds and coastal breezes.
General temperature range: 14°C minimum, 21°C maximum.
