The State Meteorological Agency (AEMET) are forecasting more clouds in the northern regions of the more mountainous Canary Islands today (Monday), with generally clear skies in other areas.
Temperatures are expected to rise in mid-altitude and mountainous areas, with trade winds picking up in strength during the afternoon in the southeast and northwest of the islands.
Gentle breezes will prevail along the southwest coasts of the mountainous islands (Gran Canaria, Tenerife, and the western islands), while winds in the higher elevations will be light and from the southwest, intensifying in the high areas of Tenerife and La Palma.
At sea the forecast indicates force 3 or 4 northerly and northeasterly winds, increasing to 4 or 5, with slight to moderately rough seas. In the southwest coasts, winds will vary from force 1 to 3, creating smooth seas. There will also be a northern or northeastern swell, with waves of only 1 metre.

Cloudy intervals in the north, clearing as the day progresses. Temperatures will rise in mid-altitude and mountainous areas, especially in the southern and western regions, with little change along the coast. Trade winds will intensify in the southeast and northwest by the afternoon, with breezes dominating the western slopes. Stronger southwest winds are expected in the central highlands during the first half of the day.

Cloudy intervals, becoming clearer throughout the morning, with cloudier skies in the west at the start and end of the day. Temperatures will see little change. Stronger trade winds may appear by the afternoon.

Cloudy intervals in the north, especially early and late in the day, with clearer skies elsewhere. Temperatures will remain mostly steady, though highs will rise in mid-altitude and mountainous areas facing the south and west.
Winds will strengthen in the southeast and northwest lowlands during the afternoon, while light breezes will prevail along the southwestern coast. Winds in the mountains will be generally light from the southwest.
