The Bahía del Duque hotel in Costa Adeje has won the Best Service award at this year’s Condé Nast Johansens Excellence Awards. The hotel's general director, Cristina de Juan, received this prestigious recognition at the World Travel Market in London last week.
“Being distinguished as having the best service in Europe is a great source of pride for the Bahía del Duque hotel and for the entire team that has made it possible,” she said. “This award encourages us to continue working with the highest level of excellence to offer our guests an unforgettable experience in the south of Tenerife.”
The Condé Nast Johansens awards were presented at a gala at the Kimpton Fitzroy London Hotel. Only eleven Spanish hotels were among the finalists for the various different categories of the European and Mediterranean Excellence Awards.
The awards were created more than two decades ago to recognize and celebrate the excellence of the hotels recommended within the guide, belonging to the publishers of Vogue, GQ, Tatler, Condé Nast Traveller and Vanity Fair. Today they are a quality brand well recognized by luxury consumers and travel professionals around the world.
The winners are selected by combining online voting, guest reviews and ratings from the guide's experts over the last year.
This award is added to those recently won by Bahía del Duque and its spa, Bahía Wellness Retreat. With a history of 30 years and faithful to its values, the Bahía del Duque is listed as one of the best hotel establishments in Europe.
