Cloudy skies and mild conditions forecast across the Canary Islands this Friday
The State Meteorological Agency (AEMET) is forecasting mostly cloudy skies across the Canary Islands today, Friday, with a low chance of light rain. Temperatures will remain steady, while light to moderate northerly winds are expected throughout the day.
At sea, northerly and north-easterly winds of force 3 to 4 are predicted, with slight to moderate seas. Swells of 1 to 2 metres will gradually ease to around one metre.

LANZAROTE:
Cloudier in the morning with clear spells later in the day. Some cloud formation may develop on southern slopes. Temperatures unchanged. Winds light to moderate from the north.

FUERTEVENTURA:
Cloudier skies in the north during the morning, with brighter conditions in the afternoon. Some cloud build-up is possible inland and on southern slopes. Temperatures stable. Light to moderate northerly winds.
Expected temperature range: High 27°C and low 21°C.
GRAN CANARIA:
Cloudier intervals in the north early on, clearing widely by the afternoon. Inland areas on southern slopes may see more cloud during the middle of the day. Temperatures steady, with slightly higher maximums on the peaks. Light to moderate north-easterly winds.
Expected temperature range: High 25°C and low 21°C.
TENERIFE:
Predominantly cloudy, with more cloud on southern slopes in the afternoon due to daytime build-up. Temperatures largely unchanged, with slight increases in higher areas. Light to moderate north-easterly winds, with westerly breezes on the upper slopes of Mount Teide.
Expected temperature range: High 27°C and low 22°C.
