An Iconic Canary Islands chocolate bar gets a festive makeover
The Christmas season hasn’t officially begun in supermarkets yet, but HiperDino is already gearing up for one of the most anticipated product launches of the year: the new limited-edition Tirma Ambrosías with turrón flavour. The special festive version arrives in stores today (18th November) and is expected to become one of this year’s standout Christmas treats.
HiperDino have already sent out a first batch to several popular food content creators across the Islands before the bars hit the shelves, so they could try them ahead of the launch. Early reactions suggest the product is set to be a huge success.
One of the first to receive the new Ambrosías was foodie influencer Adrián González (@buensaborcanarias), who showcased the product on his social media channels. The limited-edition bars come in a bold, bright-red wrapper designed specifically for Christmas. Inside, the Ambrosía is fully coated in white chocolate, paying homage to traditional festive turrón.
After taking his first bite, Adrián’s verdict was emphatic: “Are these really only for Christmas? This is crazy… they should keep them all year. They’re amazing.”
He then tried a second Ambrosía, the way many fans enjoy them, dipped in milk. The result, he said, was even better. “They’re even nicer like this. Tirma never fails.”
He highlighted the blend of textures and the warm turrón flavour, which becomes richer when dipped, enhancing both the creamy filling and the classic Ambrosía crunch.
