ALERT AT PRIMARK: They withdraw a children's product for releasing traces of lead

Primark Spain has warned of the recall of the Winnie the Pooh children's food bowl for releasing traces of lead and formaldehyde during use. They have published a warning on their website which states that: “the product does not meet Primark's usual high safety standards, as it has been found that it releases traces of lead and formaldehyde at levels higher than those permitted by EU regulations, and may present a risk if ingested.”

The bowl (pictured above) has identity number 6041901, and Primark has admitted that it has been on sale in Spanish stores, including the Canary Islands, since 17th December 2021.

Primark says that the safety of their customers is their top priority and that any consumers who have this product in their homes should return it to their nearest Primark store for a full refund immediately, and that proof of purchase or the receipt is not necessary.
