Covid update: 184 new cases today the lowest number since June 27th

According to the Ministry of Health, the Canary Islands have registered 184 new cases of Covid-19 in the last 24 hours, the lowest number since June 27th (181), while the number of the deceased rises to 906 because of four more Covid related deaths in Tenerife. There are now 14,868 active cases of which 93 are admitted to ICU, 393 remain hospitalized, and 14,382 are in home isolation.

Of the new cases, Gran Canaria has the most today with 77 followed by Tenerife with 74. There are 19 new cases in Fuerteventura, 13 in Lanzarote, 1 in La Palma, and none in La Gomera or El Hierro.

As for the Accumulated Incidence rates in the Canary Islands, the IA7 has dropped to 88.65 cases per 100,000 inhabitants and the IA14 has fallen to 224.59 cases per 100,000 inhabitants.
