Now the Cabildo closes all accesses to Teide AGAIN!

The accesses were closed originally closed on Saturday as a result of the first snow caused by storm 'Filomena' and were reopened yesterday, which lead to a throng of people heading up the mountain, causing traffic jams in and out of the National Park, but the ice generated this morning has forced them to close the roads to traffic again.

In addition, the network of forest trails is being reviewed and access to public mountains, El Chinyero and Las Palomas nature reserves, the Corona Forestal natural park, and the protected landscape of Las Lagunetas are also closed.
