More rain forecast in the Canary Islands for this Monday

Monday will see partly cloudy skies with predominantly cloudy conditions in northern slopes, where rain is likely during the first half of the day, especially in Gran Canaria, Lanzarote, and Fuerteventura, according to the latest forecast from the State Meteorological Agency (AEMET).

Minimum temperatures will rise slightly overall, more noticeably in the eastern islands, while maximum temperatures will see few changes in northern slopes and rise in areas facing south.

In Tenerife and the western islands, occasional strong north winds will prevail on eastern and western slopes, shifting to northwesterly in Gran Canaria and the eastern islands. In central Tenerife summits, strong north winds with very strong gusts are expected, decreasing this afternoon.

As of now, all weather warnings for rain, wind, storms, and adverse sea conditions have been lifted in all of the Canary Islands meaning there are none in place as the DANA is moving away from the archipelago to the northeast, and access roads to Teide National Park have been reopened.
