The State Meteorological Agency (AEMET) is forecasting slightly cloudy or clear skies, an increase in maximum temperatures, which may be more pronounced in high areas, and a north wind with strong intervals and some very strong gusts at the start of the day, particularly inland in Gran Canaria for today, Thursday.

Easter is starting with active yellow weather warnings due to very strong gusts of wind in all of the islands, although it is expected to decrease considerably from midday.

There has also been active warnings for adverse sea conditions, which have improved today, but will still have a strong swell, strong currents, with waves of 2 to 3 metres. Sunset tonight will be at 8:27pm.
