The State Meteorological Agency (AEMET) are forecasting a day dominated by clouds and cloudy intervals inland in the Canary Islands today, Sunday, and clearer on the coast. While there's a chance of some light rain, accompanied by moderate winds, temperatures are expected to remain relatively stable.
In Tenerife and the western islands, the maximum temperature is predicted to reach 26°C, while in Gran Canaria and the eastern islands, it's expected to be a slightly cooler 24°C. Overnight lows will be around 18 to 20 degrees Celsius in both provinces.
Northerly winds are anticipated, blowing moderately across the region, and winds from the north or northeast are also expected in the waters surrounding the archipelago, with forces ranging between 3 and 5, possibly increasing to 6 locally with a swell up to 1 metre.
