Cloudy skies and light rains start the week in the Canary Islands
According to the forecast from State Meteorological Agency (AEMET), the cloudy slightly chillier weather is going to continue this week, at least until Wednesday, with some rain across the islands including the south which has avoided it so far, particularly in Tenerife.

TENERIFE (Adeje and south airport weather stations):
General: Mostly cloudy with some sunny intervals and scattered showers.
Precipitation: 67% for rain the south of the island.

GRAN CANARIA (Mogan weather station):
General: Mostly sunny with some clouds and isolated showers inland.
Precipitation: 24% - possible showers.
Wind: Moderate, 24km/h from the northeast
Temperatures: Maximum 24°C and minimum 15°C.
LANZAROTE (Arrecife weather station):
General: Sunny with cloudy intervals and some light showers.
Precipitation: 35% - showers this afternoon.
Wind: Moderate, 27km/h from the northwest.
Temperatures: Maximum 23°C and minimum 16°C.
FUERTEVENTURA (Puerto Rosario weather station):
General: A sunny day with cloudy intervals but expected to stay dry.
Precipitation: 12% - No rain expected.
Wind: Strong, 32km/h from the northwest.
Temperatures: Maximum 24°C and minimum 18°C.
