Covid update: Only 79 new cases today with a drop in Tenerife

The Ministry of Health have reported of just 79 new cases of coronavirus today in the Canary Islands, with a drop in Tenerife where 38 were detected as opposed to 26 in Gran Canaria, 11 in Lanzarote, 2 in Fuerteventura, 2 in La Palma, and none yet again in La Gomera or El Hierro.

As always on a Sunday there were less people medically discharged so active cases have increased slightly, but that will be rectified tomorrow. More good news as no Covid related deaths were reported for the second day running, and the vaccination plan continues at full pace which will also be updated tomorrow by the SCS.
